behind the collection

We dress ourselves each day in accoutrements that make us feel more confident, safe, and attractive, and yet, how often do those qualities disappear as we undress?

Free of costuming, how we really think and feel toward ourselves emerges. How often do womxn avoid being near or fully naked because of the unpleasant and self-abusive thoughts and feelings that arise?

To be naked and compassionate toward the feelings that bubble up. To practice acceptance over resistance. To practice breathing through discomfort.

On the other side of our wounding rests a space where—with or without clothing—we stay dressed in all our greatest qualities.
